Description
The Carter-Hoffmann PH1835 Mobile Heated Holding Cabinet is designed for commercial kitchens to keep prepared foods hot and ready for service. Featuring a convection heating system with a forced-air blower, it quickly recovers lost heat, preheats to 160°F in 25 minutes, and evenly circulates warmth throughout the cabinet. The insulated, double-panel door and high-density fiberglass insulation maintain programmed temperatures even in cold environments, ensuring food stays at optimal serving temperature up to 200°F.
This full-height reach-in cabinet accommodates sheet pans, steam table pans, gastronorm pans, and glass racks using adjustable universal tray slides. Built with all-welded stainless steel and a vinyl wraparound bumper, it resists corrosion, rust, and impact. Mobility is easy and safe thanks to two vertical aluminum push handles and four 5-inch swivel casters (two with brakes) in an offset, wheel-ahead pattern that prevents tipping on uneven surfaces. The top-mounted convection heating system is removable for field maintenance, while a dial thermometer with remote sensing bulb allows precise temperature monitoring.
